Poplar body with two main drawers and richly-grained walnut drawer faces.  The top drawer has a secret rear compartment with ample room to store a variety of small items.  Mineral staining of poplar occasionally creates what is known as "rainbow poplar," with hints of green, brown, and light purple resulting in these exquisite grain patterns.  All external surfaces treated with multiple coats of shellac, polyurethane, and Renaissance wax.  Soft layer of bisque tan flocking adds beauty to this piece of fuctional art and provides a soft layer of protection for your treasures.
