Pine Nautilus Shell

Scroll saw shell comprised of dozens of wedges individually and meticulously cut out and securely bonded together with wood glue. With its characteristic vibrant grain patterning, pine is ideally suited for this art form. After hours of sanding and application of several coats of finish followed by Renaissance wax to achieve a protective and radiant coat, a lasting piece of art and an intriguing conversation piece has emerged!
