Nautilus Shell

Scroll saw shell meticulously comprised of dozens of wedges individually cut out and securely bonded together with wood glue. After hours of sanding and application of several coats of shellac followed by Renaissance wax to achieve a protective and radiant coat, a lasting piece of art and an intriguing conversation piece has emerged!

Materials:  Bamboo plywood

Base:  Maple spheres resting on hardwood.
