Resin Chaos Project!

Resin Chaos Project!

The chaos boards have been fun to make and seem popular.  They require quite a bit of lumber to begin with.  There are multiple steps involved, including repeated gluing and re-sawing.  Although the resulting pieces are pretty special, there is a lot of waste involved.  As an alternative, I decided to use small pieces randomly embedded in a resin mold to create a similarly chaotic display with a lot less lumber needed.  Whatever I saved on lumber was probably spent on resin.  I posted this completed project on a few of my Facebook groups and received surprisingly rave reviews!  Already working on the next ones!  Resin is expensive. This style of board in this size will be priced similar to the conventional chaos boards, i.e. $250-$300.
