The 60th annual "On the Green" event organized by Glastonbury Arts and featuring over 60 exhibitors was an amazing debut experience for the Bones2Wood team! The show was extremely well-organized in a great location on the Hubbard Green in Glastonbury, CT. And the perfect weather conditions didn't hurt, either.
It was great to connect with old friends and family and to see so many former patients from when I was using power tools on bones rather than wood.
We were fortunate to sell many end grain cutting boards, river boards, charcuterie boards, beer glass flight boards, and cheese boards, which meant that Tina was kept very busy selling, explaining the products, and wrapping.
The trailer was a lot emptier going home from the show than arriving there, and it looks like it's time to get back to work.
Although it was very humbling to be surrounded by such amazing artists showcasing their pottery, stained-glass work, jewelry, photography, painting, wood turning products, etc., we felt like we did OK, and we're signed up to return in 2023!
